Auto window tinting questions
How dark can I legally tint my car in Oregon?
Oregon allows 35% VLT or lighter on front side windows and any darkness on the rear glass and back sides for most passenger vehicles, plus a windshield strip above the AS-1 line. We confirm the current limits for your specific vehicle before installing.
How long does an auto tint install take?
Most full-vehicle installs take two to four hours depending on glass shape and whether old film has to be removed first. Two front doors is usually under an hour.
Will ceramic tint block my phone, GPS or keyless entry?
No. Rayno nano-carbon ceramic film contains no metal, so cell signal, GPS, keyless entry, tire sensors and toll transponders all work normally — unlike older metalized films.
When can I roll my windows down after tinting?
Wait three to five days in warm weather, longer in cold. The film needs time for the mounting solution to fully evaporate. Light haze or small water pockets during that period are normal and clear on their own.
Do you tint trucks, Teslas and windshields?
Yes — pickups, SUVs, EVs, classics and fleet vehicles. We also install clear or light ceramic windshield film, which is one of the biggest heat upgrades you can make in Central Oregon sun.
